Dublin, Tipperary and Cork worst Counties in Ireland for Road Fatalities

Tragically, there were 148 road fatalities on Irish Roads in 2019 which is a 5% increase on 2018.

Of the 148 killed, 81 were drivers, 16 passengers, 27 pedestrians, 16 motorcyclists, and 8 pedal cyclists. September (20) and December (16) were the most dangerous months while Friday (26) and Sunday (32) were statistically the most dangerous days on the roads.

Dublin – 19

Cork – 16

Tipperary – 13

Limerick – 9

Galway – 8

Donegal – 8

Kerry – 7

Meath – 7

Wexford – 7

Kilkenny – 6
